Known as “Lefty” he is one of the greatest pitchers of all-time, winning four Cy Young awards (1972 (unanimously), 1977, 1980 & 1982), 329 career wins and 4136 career strikeouts (currently fourth all-time). He played 24 seasons from 1965-1988 primarily with the St Louis Cardinals (7 seasons) and Philadelphia Phillies (15 seasons, winning 241 games).
